Senior Project Manager

NexusNovus is an Indo – European boutique consultancy and implementation firm, based out of Bangalore. Since four years we are working from our office in Bangalore for medium and large sized European clients with the ambition to enter or further develop the Indian market. We are offering consultancy, representation and trading services. Our team in Bangalore is almost 20 people from all over India (75%) and Europe (25%).

Currently, we have a very challenging position available for a Senior Project Manager. In our growing organization we are in the need of a person who can take charge of implementing various (consulting) projects we have in our pipeline. The type of projects we are handling can range from the execution of feasibility studies, (Joint venture) partner search, setting up new companies, or even complete sales organizations. Tasks and Responsibilities

Overall responsible for the implementation and execution of our (consultancy) projects. This includes:

  • Develop plans of approach and strategies for the implementation of each project.
  • Build a team for each project (inside and/or outside of our organization, for example with external service providers)
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders of each project.
  • Ensure clear communication and periodic status updates throughout each projects’ duration.
  • Manage internal and external (clients and other stakeholders) expectations.
  • Ensure successful and on time completion of projects within financial constraints.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to our MT (shareholders) and other direct stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong (international) client relationships.

Necessary Skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and spoken English and Hindi communication skills.

Senior Sales Representative

Currently, we have a very challenging position available for a Senior Sales Manager – India for a Belgian client seeking to start sales and operations in India by 01-01-2011. Our client is manufacturing drill heads and tools, which can be used to manipulate all sorts of metal objects. The representative will be overall responsible for the company’s sales activities in India and will be trained directly by the Belgian client.

Report to: Director

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize participation at relevant trade fairs across India.
  • Follow-up on sales leads post trade fairs.
  • Organize and give product demonstrations at the premises of potential clients across India.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to our clients’ head office in Belgium.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Business Development - Sales and Marketing Manager India

Our client, EcO2 Asia, has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). EcO2 is the world leader in green, non-toxic pest control and fumigation solutions and offers professional pest control technologies and facilities to control pests in an environmental friendly way. The pest control technologies of EcO2 are all safe for consumers and producers, not influenced by pest resistance, and independent of atmospheric influences.

Since 2010 EcO2 is part of Control Union / Peterson Group which is a worldwide operating company with offices in more than 50 countries and operations in India of over 250 people. EcO2 has two offices in Vietnam, one in Binh Duong and one in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently EcO2 has 30 employees and are planning to expand in the near future in Asia.

We are looking for a  Sales &Marketing Manager who will be located in one of our Control Union offices in India, preferably Mumbai. Working for EcO2 means working in a dynamic and international environment. We are looking for people that think it is a challenge to work in a changing dynamic environment, who are flexible and open minded.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Work independently and make sure progress and follow up takes place.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity by you or any other colleagues.
  • Develop draft proposals based on company visits and discussions
  • As ECO2 is part of Control Union the Sales & Marketing position will also require cross selling Control Union services. This might/will require a close cooperation between Sales & Marketing from Control Union India.
  • Prepare a clear marketing plan for the first year whereby the specific target markets are identified whereby EcO2 set out the export quantities, company names and locations.

Target industries:

  • Cashew Industry
  • Rice (Basmati) Industry
  • Tobacco Industry
  • Spices & Related (eg sesame seeds)

Target for first year: Realize 2 – 3 sales;

EcO2 set this target as they believe that with being located between all cashew suppliers and with the current sales leads they have. Especially in the rice industry they should be able to realize this.

  • Do research & come with ideas for starting an EcO2 Terminal. They should find out what would be the best option to start a terminal for EcO2 in India. Most likely this will be in one of the ports, but might even start small with installing 1 or 2 treatment containers at the new office premises in Mumbai.

Take in mind that they need clients to start such an operation, location is everything but clients are essential part as well to start with. Might be something whereby they combine treatments with some minor processing like they do in Vietnam, will be explained during visit to Vietnam.

  • Identify options for putting our name in the market, think of introductions to specific industry organizations like cashew trade platforms / association, but also look for opportunities to meet clients at trade events / exhibitions.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Any other task that will be assigned to the sales manager.

Additional responsibilities are:

  • Participate in / Organize marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.

As a BD and S&M person for EcO2 it is required to maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. The work may also require significant local travel to current and potential clients and requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule.

  • The BD and S&M Manager commit him/her-self to perform all work related duties to the best of her ability even if some duties do not exactly match the job description.
  • The position will require travelling and perform assignments in India and abroad at the request of the company.

Salary indication:

XXXXXX  + incentive schedule. Final package depending on experience and qualifications.

In order to effectively penetrate the German market, we are offering an internship to an ambitious, sales oriented, adventurous, German native speaker (female preferred).

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing and supporting all business development activities aimed at developing the German market. These include: cold sales calling, follow-up by mail or phone, assisting with developing marketing and PR materials, executing campaigns, email marketing, supporting sales agents in the field, etc.
  • Assist colleagues where necessary with business development and consultancy activities. This includes exposure to the full lead-to-sales conversion cycle: lead generation (cold calling, online marketing, exhibition visits, etc), sales follow-up, assisting in preparing quotations, proposals, negotiations, etc.
  • Responsible for all the sales and marketing efforts / activities aimed at the German market. These have to be in line with the company’s overall strategy and goals.
