A fact-finding and matchmaking oriented Trade Mission for Dutch entrepreneurs from the metal sector is about to commence. Destination: India. This trip will cover three different Indian cities and is organized in collaboration with NexusNovus, RoyalMetaalUnie (KMU); a Dutch branch organization for SMEs in the metal industry and FME; a Dutch organization for the technological industry.
India is currently one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Large investments are being made in sectors such as the automotive, capital goods, construction and the food industry. To explore these business opportunities, KMU and FME have organized a Trade Mission to India in association with NexusNovus. This mission is meant for Dutch companies who are active in the metal sector and eager to enter the Indian market. The event will take place from the 29th of January to the 4th of February ‘2012 and will cover the cities of Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad.
The 13 Dutch participants will be guided through India’s metal industry so as to get a feel of the many opportunities India has to offer. The mission will be a combination of on-site visits, discussions with Dutch experts working in India and individual matchmaking with potential Indian business partners.
CEO of NexusNovus, Bart Hergaarden: “India’s metal industry is standing at the pivotal point of positive change. There is a boom throughout all the main economic sectors in India which presents enormous opportunities for businesses. The thriving Indian sectors like automotive, maritime, construction and machine building are especially very profitable for Dutch entrepreneurs to explore and get into. India is and will continue to become an interesting and lucrative place to conduct business in.”
